On the roof top,
right on top
loud loud beats
smash the resounding silence
and the sapiens of the night
went crazy with the thumping
the once dead CBD
in the dead of the night
now wide awake
and staring...
staring at the sounds
at the crazy beats
crazy exuberant dancing
i m dancing my chair
attune to the beats of the music
alone in my own world
fingers cradling my pda
typing this poem out
to the rhythm
of your
music...
I wanna dance
I wanna sing
I wanya.
I do that
all that
in my head
in my world of words
happy in the words
that i devour
and record
voraciously
in my crazy heart beat world.
drumsticks clamour
for my crazy visions
the glass breaks
in front of me
but in my boots
I flinch
not.
the cold beer running
down the counter
is another matter
entirely
and soon the cold drip
gets me up.
